This kit provides an aluminum cabinet extension, microwave, and cabinet door face for Revels 21, 22, 23 or 24. It is easy to install and designed to be used with an existing cabinet. This kit is compatible only with the Compact Microwave, specifically the GE 0.7 cubic foot, 700 watt unit.

How do I install this cabinet?

It is easy to install and was designed to be used with an existing cabinet. Check the installation video for a step by step guide.

Exceptional quality and easy to install

Before getting the microwave kit I was storing a very large, heavy microwave in the shower compartment. I had to lift it out and set it up every time I simply wanted to heat my coffee. This new kit from Canyon Adventure Vans is PERFECT! It is a true space saver. The microwave is a high quality GE that comes with a locking door and auto shut off of the display so as not to continually drain the battery. My biggest concern was the installation as I'm not handy at all (it's why I bought a Revel fully loaded). The "how to" video of an installer detailing each and every step in easy to comprehend language was extremely helpful. Aside from one minor adjustment to the back panel, the installation went without issue. I highly recommend this kit.

Flawless. I cut the one inch electrical protector on the back of the microwave down to to quarter inch and the microwave slid easily onto the metal stand. Love all the preset drilled holes for seamless installation. A specialty of CAV. Love the new look and ease of having a microwave.

well thought through and great aesthetics

his is a great kit for a clean look. It seems though that each van is a bit different, but installing in our 2023 Revel required to cut the back felt board. The microwave back was hitting the felt board with about 1 ¼” more to go. There is no way to simply push the microwave oven in as shown in the video. I also modified the cord of the microwave to a low profile plug—the cord was too short if you want to run it behind the felt board, and the GE plug sticks out too much cutting in the usable shelf space. I also installed a switched receptacle. 4 stars given the price and wait time.

We had a handyman put the microwave in. It looks great. We haven't had a chance to use it yet.
