Maximize Departure Angle
Bumper-mounted swing-out systems kill your van's departure angle — limiting off-road capability and dragging through obstacles. Owl carriers mount to the rear door hinges, keeping your spare tire up high and away from water, road debris, and the ground. Your van's geometry stays intact.
Rear Door Hinges
The VS30 MB Sprinter (2019+) comes with either 180° or 270° factory hinges. All Owl rear door products require 180° hinges. If your hinges have holes in them, you have 180° hinges and you're good to go. If your doors swing all the way open and fold flat along the side of the van, you have 270° hinges and will need the Sprinter Hinge Swap: 180 (2019+) add-on.
All Winnebago Revel, Storyteller Overland, Tiffin GH1, and Thor vans come standard with 180° hinges.
